Trattoria al Sasset: Niguarda, Milano

I attempted to order only a primo piatto of pasta e fagioli and a side of salad, but the chef, and grandmother of the single waiter, put me in my place. She came out into the dining room and told me that, for a secondo, there was only one piece of fish left, and if I didn’t want to eat that, I was eating sausage. 

The entire lunch cost €10. I had a chat with the man seated next to me who told me that ”sognare non costa niente.” -E
